Joomla can't install

This is getting rather annoying. For several versions now I'm unable to install Joomla. Installation process freezes on creating database tables.

Joomla is very popular CMS and joomla module is simply not enough because I'm limited to one joomla installation and I have many joomla related projects.

Also, it's not even a clean install of joomla. If I want to do anything with it, first I have to delete all articles, menus and categories.

At least post some instructions on how to do it if things can't work out of the box.

Hi
What's your default MySQL engine ? Try with MyISAM.
You can change the engine via the admin page.
