How do I get a server side include to work in easyphp? Must be a configuration issue; but I cannot find such.

AddType text/html .shtml
AddOutputFilter INCLUDES .shtml
Add Includes option in your document root.

Thanks for your response. I apologize for being a know-very-little newbie, but your response doesn't tell me enough. Your response looks a bit like .htaccess codes, But I have no .htaccess file. Should I create one? I saw nothing in the documentation indicating so.

And I don't know how to "add includes option," or what an "includes option" is, or what my document root is. Is my "document root" the directory below my www directory?

I'm sorry for sounding so dumb. But I work alone and have no access to any corporate PHP resources or colleague support.
