Start only mySQL as windows service

Is there any way within EasyPHP to configure as follows:

* mySQL started as Windows service
* apache started manually by EasyPHP

Of course I could configure both to start as services and then use Regedit or a windows Startup manager to disable the apache startup. But that seems kludgy and I don't know what are the risks (for example, will EasyPHP "remember" that apache should already be running as a service and refuse to start it manually). Is there a cleaner, more elegant solution within EasyPHP?

Thanks and Best Regards,
