12.1 Not Working on Windows 8 Preview

I know, it's not released yet!
However, spinning icon at Administrator config, www located in x86 folder not writeable, need redirect (alias) to dev folder on local system, web doc help shows XP setup, icon different in Win8, Configuration/EasyPHP shows Annuler and not Cancel.
Where do I start if I want to Fork/Build/Test and submit a Pull Request?

EasyPHP does not seem to be open source, although you could edit most of the php administration pages.

The core executable however is closed, and has a number of issues. I would definitely welcome a revised configuration structure, something to make it easier to migrate settings and updates.
