Hi, I'm facing a strange problem with easyphp 5.3.9. Before I used to work with EasyPhp and connexion was established successfully to database but now When tying to access to database administration I've got error message:
MySQL a répondu:
#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
how can I solve this problem. I tried to reinstall easyPhp but it stills!
Thanks

What is the root password on initialization of PHPmyAdmin databases? I tried the ' ' null password and it did nothing. So I tried the asterik. This is my code and errors:

<?php # Script 8.2 - mysqli_connect.php
// This file contains the database access information.
// This file also establishes a connection to MySQL
// and selects the database.
// Set the database access information as constants:
DEFINE ('DB_USER', 'root');
DEFINE ('DB_PASSWORD', '*');
DEFINE ('DB_HOST', 'localhost');
DEFINE ('DB_NAME', 'sitevisitors');

// Make the connection:

$dbc = @mysqli_connect (DB_HOST, DB_USER, DB_PASSWORD, DB_NAME)
OR die ('Could not connect to MySQL: ' . mysqli_connect_error() );

Could not connect to MySQL: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
