Hi all, i'm trying to set easyphp as web server but have some problems...
Fisrtly i have installed the new version of VirtualBox in a windows XP SP2 i. The virtual machine is also a windows XP SP2. I will refer to the first as xp and the latter as vm-xp. In my vm-xp i have installed easyphp in order to make some tests with a personal server i want. Also i have a DNS account in the no-ip let's say it's the 'vb.no-ip.org' . In xp i have zonealarm pro and the router is netgear(cable).Ok here is my problem:
I want to access the server in vm-xp when i type my dns account in the browser, thus making it accessible from the internet not only local. I have made the appropriate configurations in the zonealaram, i have closed the windows firewall both xp and vm-xp, and forward the ports in the router( specifically i port forward the HTTP 80 port in the vm-xp, as i configured the router to give static local ips, 192.168.0.4 to vm-xp and 192.168.0.5 to xp). Note that i have bridged the vm's and the real's xp interfaces. Now i load the updater from no-ip to vm-xp and add a new host let's say 'help.no-ip.org'. Also i have edited the conf file of apache to listen to every ip ( 0.0.0.0:80 ) and set the no-ip name instead of the localhost.
The problem is that from inside virtual LAN i can access the server but i have problem accessing it from an outside pc.Any ideas why is this happening?sorry for my English, maybe does the problem appear more compicated than is.Any help/ideas desirable!

EasyPHP from the outside is strongly discouraged... but if you are mad, you can also read the FAQ ;)
