Hello

How do I change the mysql root password? Could someone please help me this is driving me crazy... :p

I also want to know something about easyPHP. I have changed the port of apache to 8000 and I want to know if there is a way to open the links of EasyPHP (like administration) on 127.0.0.1:8000 because they always open at 127.0.0.1 and I have to manually add the port to the link after getting a "site cannot be displayed" error. Is it possible to fix this I couldn't find anything in the settings...

Thank you

You can change MySQL root password through PhpMyAdmin (section credentials)
or by using the SET PASSWORD query which is documented on [dev.mysql.com]

There's unfortunately no way to tell EasyPHP that links shold open on a different port. However, you can create a link for the correct URL on your desktop or in quicklaunch ...

You just have to customize your phpmyadmin configuration file.
Replace the original password (empty) with your new one.

You may also try to set authentication to http or cookie.
You will find good tips in phpmyadmin documentation on this topic,
so please read the configuration / authentication sections thoroughly.
