Changed password on MySql Root, now can't access database

Hi, hope you can help!

I've just installed EASYPHP and got it running with a Joomla 1.5 site, but I then stupidly changed the password in MySql for the root account, it was no password and I added one. Now I can't get to the database from the EASYPHP administration menu, I get a #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) error. How do I fix this?

Cheers
Mark

By modifying (or "creating") the confing.inc.php for PHPMyAdmin...

Captain Jack Harkness: You've been to the factories?
The Doctor: Once.
Captain Jack Harkness: Well, they're gone now. The main reactor went critical, destroyed the whole lot.
The Doctor: Like I said. Once.
