Joomla doesn't run

I just installed Easyphp 5.3.3 on my computer as well as the module Joomla 1.5.20.
Easyphp runs. To start Joomla, I click on "Administration" and then I click on "Front Office" or "Back Office". A new tab opens and the browser is running and running, but nothing happens. Finally only a blanc screen is shown.

I work with Windows Vista.

Does anyone has an idea what I should do?

This worked for me. Try the FAQ suggestion for what do if you get blank page:

edit C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file and uncomment (remove # char) before line 127.0.0.1 localhost'

No, I have right host file , but also can't start Joomla.
But all works fine after EasyPHP 5.3.0

Hey Ilse!

Maybe you figured it out already but I happened to have the same problem (fresh install, vista, ...). I went in my host file and discovered that I had an entry :
::1 localhost
I added a # sign in front of it, and it worked!

New joomla 1.7 module have a problem. After successful installation, it does not run. It shows the error in browser....
Infinite loop detected in JError
If anyone have any idea to remove the problem please tell me.

My english is bad but i can help you for Joomla.

In Easy, search file php.ini

Open php.ini and search line : max_execution_time = 30
change value 30 put 0

line : max_input_time = 60
change value 60 put 120

line : error_reporting = E_ALL | E_STRICT change by
error_reporting = E_ALL&~E_NOTICE

line : display_errors = on change by off

I hope that you understand my solution. I have Joomla 1.7 and Easy PHP 5.3.8.0

After editing php.ini file nothing happened. The problem is not solved.
