Hi,

I have an error message "Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in..." when I run one of my php script.

My php.ini files into C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP\apache and C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP\conf_files have 2400 seconds on the line "max_execution_time" but when I run phpinfo() I have always 30 seconds on the line "max_execution_time", I don't understand why? I reboot my computer and reboot EasyPHP many times.

I'm on Windows Seven 64 bits and I have EasyPHP 5.3.3

Thank you for your help.

Bruno

You can run EasyPHP as Administrator, or disable Windows UAC ;)

Thank you Amour for your answer.

What is the better solution to run EasyPHP: as administrator or disable Windows UAC?

How disable Windows UAC?

I am having the same issue, but I don't speak or read french. Does anyone have any ideas in english? I am running EasyPHP as administrator, but scripts that work fine on my production server are crashing using EasyPHP for some reason.

Oh, actually, never mind, I found the solution.

For some reason when I use localhost as the database host it just fails. I changed my mysql_connect to use 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost and voila!

I hope that helps someone else with similar problems.

Hi Ryan, what is the name of the file containing the mysql_connect?

I found the solution.

With Windows Seven I have 2 php.ini on my computer:

C:\Users\PC-Bureau\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP\apache
and:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP\apache

I modified the php.ini file into C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP\apache but not into the
C:\Users\PC-Bureau\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP\apache
if you edit this php.ini file into C:\Users\PC-Bureau\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP\apache
and changed the max_execution_time = 2400 it works!!!

When you disable UAC, you can delete directory "C:\Users\PC-Bureau\AppData\Local\VirtualStore".

It's a very useless feature and it's really better without it.
Otherwhise, it create many files twice...

What is the utility of the "VirtualStore" folder in C:\Users\PC-Bureau\AppData\Local\VirtualStore ?

I hesitate to delete this folder on my computer...

Remove only EasyPHP folder in VirtualStore.

Yes, that's a fucking UAC "feature".
That is fix in next version. Now always run easyphp "as administrator".
