Apache cannot be runned

I am using easyPHP for the first ever time, due to vista being a pain in the arse! However, everytime i try and start it, i get the message:

Apache cannot be runned : another Web server use the Web port or port is blocked by firewall.

Strangely, i turned off my firewall, and checked all the port blocking, nothing is blocking port 80!

Any ideas anyone?

I cannot run apache it says pending and then stopped i am running as admin

I have the same issue. I installed EasyPHP 5.2.10 and it works seamlessly, so there's obviously an issue in the latest version. Don't waste your time on it until it's fixed.
