Recently my computer 'happened' to crash while mysqld.exe was working and since that moment MySQL component of my EasyPHP installation simply doesn't work - yes, I've got the 'green traffic light' icon in the service app, but in all other aspects it behaves exactly like mysql wasn't even switched on. (The only way I can log in to it is via mysql.exe in /mysql/bin directory using --user and --password parameters - I've since tried to do it and run mysqlcheck with --repair --all-databases (nothing seems to be deleted in /mysql/data) however - it didn't help) I've even gone that far to uninstall EasyPHP (and remove any reference of it in system registry), restart my computer, then install EasyPHP again "brand new", but after that *still the same behaviour* (it shouldn't be - but it is!).
Can anyone help me, please? (It starts to drive me crazy..)
(I've got EasyPHP 5.3.1.0 on WinXP)
