I'm having trouble with my easyphp. I'm using it to have a test server which I can develop a database driven site.

I am able to access the site from my host (physical comp) but I cannot create a database link in dreamweaver. in phpMyAdmin I also created a user which has access from any ip to the sql but when i test my database connection in DW i get no response.

any experience that can help me?

what is yout host system ?

Make all you test from your host, easyphp is not designed for remote access.
Or install easyphp on your root partition (OS running VM Player).

The PC on which i'm designing is the computer on which the VM is running. Host is Win7, VM is WinXP Pro.

Why don't you install EsayPHP on seven ?
(there was a problem, resolved in 5.3.2 and a solution for 5.3.1 in sticky topic in this forum). Using a VM (just ?) for EasyPHP is overkill.
