If you have Vista or 7, you must run EasyPHP as Administrator.

Do you have Vista or 7 ?

I'm getting the same message: unexpected end of Apache and it goes to "stopped" with a red light.

It briefly goes to "Pending" and sometimes there is a green light follow by "unexpected end of Apache" a split second later.

How do I get Apache to stay connected?

EasyPHP is running as Administrator ?

Also, did you tried to run servers as Service ?

If you have the Skype app. running on your computer that will cause the "unexpected end of apache" error too..

that was in my case

You can prevent Skype from using TCP 80 port ;)
