can´t start phpMyAdmin

Can someone please help?

i can´t start phpMyAdmin, when i try to do it, it appears:

"access denied
can´t connect:invalid configurations

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to MySql server and the connection was refused. check server, username and password in config.inc.php and make sure they match with the information provided by the MySql server Admin."

Did you changed MySQL root password ?

EasyPHP is running as Administrator ?

I just installed it, didn´t touch a thing and deactivated UAC.

Can you uninstall EasyPHP, delete his directory and install again ?

Already did that, nothing.
Still the same problem.

So, I admit I don't know why it it is not working...

If you want, you can try another software, like PHPServer or WAMP
