I'm trying so hard to connect the Mysql thing but it doesn't connect! The Apache is ok, but the mysql... nothing. I was searching around the forum and other forums but I couldn't find a way to connect it, what do I need to do? I tried to download another version but it still can't connect. Help me.

Is MySQL started, or not ?

If yes, you can try with user "root" and password "mysql" or nothing.

If no, you must run EasyPHP as Administrator (right click, and "Run as Administrator") ;)

Now I'm doing this way: I'm right cliking over the icon of EasyPHP and then, Configuration, then, all the boxes I left empty, then OK. The Apache starts and the Mysql don't. The Apache is green light, but the Mysql is red! When I try to start, it doesn't start and a sound as alert. What do I need to do? I'm looking around the web but I can't find a way to fix it, I even formated the computer, so, what do I do?

Ps: I use Windows Vista, is there aany uncompatibility with that?

Right click and "Run As Administrator" must be in star menu onto EasyPHP shortcut, not in systray ;)

Also, you can change properties of that shortcut and check "Run As Administrator", it's more useful

Hi,

I have the Windows 7 Family Premium 32 bits, I installed the last EasyPHP version 5.3.0.

I run EasyPHP in Administrator mode and I click PHPAdmin to execute Mysql.

A new page is openned "[127.0.0.1]; (I put " to show the adress) but this page is blank.

I use Firefox 3.5.7.

What is the issue ?

Regards,

Thanks for your reply.

I modified my first post because the address doesn't show correctly. I put " to show the address.

It's OK now.

I think to understand.

In fact I did the modifications without reboot or turn off.

Today I turn on then start EasyPHP in Administrator mode and I click PHPAdmin to execute Mysql without problem.
