Set up the environment

Hi,
I am a new EasyPHP 5.3 user.
I read that one has to set up the environment to get the help files and the EasyPHP electronic manuals. I Get these instructions to start with:
***** Start *****
Example #1 Getting the sources and installing the tools

# Checkout the XML documentation sources
$ svn [svn.php.net] phpdoc

$ cd phpdoc

# Install the PHP based Docbook renderer (PhD)
$ pear channel-discover doc.php.net
$ pear install doc.php.net/phd-beta

# Configuring the XML and validate it
$ php configure.php

# Render the documentations
$ phd -d .manual.xml -t chunkedhtml
***** End *****
Where do I copy this code? Where do I execute it? Which software do I use?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,

Not sure what those particular help files contains but you could look at this address:
[www.php.net]

you can get online help or download a .CHM version (to work locally w/o being plugged into the 'net) of the official help for PHP.

As for EasyPHP, once it's up and running w/o any errors, you don't need a manual.
