Easyphp 1.7 to 5.3

Hello,

A few years ago I had a program made for my clinic (in PHP). The programer used easyphp 1.7. I got a new PC and I would like to know if it is possible to use the new version 5.3. I am not a programer so I hope it is not to complicated to do.
