Error displaying php code

Hello I just installed EasyPhp under windows 7 and I am getting problems to get it work correctly.

When I try to display a site that didi work under vista before, the browser displays all the php code as text, as if the server was not running, but it says it is started.

Any idea

ALso, the includes are not included...

I found where to fix the problem
in the php.ini files,
set
short_open_tag = On

It is a very bad idea... you would fix you scripts and use full tags (<?php and not <?)

could you explain why ?
