Hello,

I just upgraded from EasyPHP 3.0 to EasyPHP 3.1 and now, I get those errors whenever I try to connect to my mySQL DB:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: OK packet 6 bytes shorter than expected in ......... on line 28

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: mysqlnd cannot connect to MySQL 4.1+ using old authentication in ............. on line 28

I changed NOTHING in my mySQL server, and NOTHING in my code.

Does anyone have a clue?

I just replaced the easyPHP files...

I even tried to install the vesion 3.1 on a new computer and it bugs again. If I install version 3.0 on this other computer, it works as before... I find it very surprising...

"I just replaced the easyPHP files... "

No, you can't do that...

You must export all you databases (except mysql db) thought phpMyAdmin, and with new EasyPHP import all databases.

If you visit Administration in EasyPHP 3.1, you will find following lines:

MySQL parameters (default MySQL account)

Host : "localhost"
Username : "root"
Password : "" (no password)

You need to change your password to successfuly connect your current database. Notice, former password in 3.0 version was mysql.
