deleted root directory

I created a new user but deleted the "root" user. Now i get error message #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO),

I've tried changing the config.inc.php to the new user name with and with out the password, but it still does not let me into myphpadmin using easyphp 5.3 and wordpress3.0.1

Do I need to

A]reset easy php(i tried to re-install nothing work)?
B]re-install root directory?
C]re-install myphpadmin?

I'm using easyphp for wordpress

please help

You can run MySQL with skip-grant-table option (you can add it into my.cnf).

After, root can be created again ;)

Check the file modified is really the one in your installtion dir, UAC "capabilities" may write the file in your VirtualStore folder.
