Hi to all,

When I start easy php apache tells me that can not use the port 80 because there is a web server running or firewall. My firewall is turned off, even I tried to change the port but I still received this message. Does someone know what shall I do? Thank you for your help.

With TCPView, you can see program that use port 80 ;)

Do you have Skype? Skype uses port 80 by default but you can turn that off in the Options->Connections panel

Hi !

I have the same problem.

No skype. Most of the other process have been shutdown... Still unable to start Apache.

Port 80 is not occupied (verified with TcpView) and I've configured different other ports as 1180, 8080, 8090...etc.
Something a bit boring is that you can't know what is the actual problem, nothing into log files...

I guess it's something with Vista security management but I don't what to do.

I wanna search again...
