does easyphp3 work for anyone?

I've had nearly every problem posed by posters in this forum.
htaccess doesn't work, url rewrite doesn't work, tables destroyed, can't change data base directory, unexpected end of mysql.
There are no suggested solutions to the problems.
I only "upgraded" from 1.8 which worked fine, to have the latest version of mysql, needed for certain scripts.
